We are building a corporate card and spend management platform for small and mid sized businesses across the United States and Canada.

Our product helps companies replace bank issued cards, manual approvals, spreadsheets, and disconnected accounting workflows with one unified spend platform. We serve businesses that need stronger control, real time visibility, faster approvals, cleaner month end processes, and a better employee purchasing experience.

We are focused on a large and underserved segment of growing companies, especially teams that have outgrown basic banking tools but do not want enterprise complexity. Our buyers are founders, CFOs, controllers, and finance or operations leaders. Our end users are employees, managers, and finance teams who need approved business spending, receipt capture, reimbursements, and accurate reporting in one place.

About the role

We are hiring our first dedicated sales leader.

This person will work directly with the founders to turn early market demand into a disciplined revenue motion. You will own pipeline generation, discovery, demos, deal strategy, closing, and the feedback loops that improve positioning, pricing, onboarding, and product direction.

This role is for a builder. You should be comfortable working close to the product, selling in an early market, and creating the systems and playbooks that future hires will use.

What you will do

  1. Build qualified pipeline across founders, CFOs, controllers, and finance or operations leaders.
  2. Own the full sales cycle from first outreach through signed agreement.
  3. Run strong discovery conversations that uncover approval friction, weak spend controls, reimbursement pain, and month end inefficiency.
  4. Lead product demos and commercial conversations with clarity and urgency.
  5. Translate product capabilities into clear financial and operational value.
  6. Refine messaging, objection handling, sales materials, and demo flows based on real buyer feedback.
  7. Work directly with the founders on ideal customer profile, pricing, packaging, and outbound strategy.
  8. Maintain strong pipeline discipline, forecasting hygiene, CRM accuracy, and follow through.
  9. Bring structured market feedback into product, onboarding, and customer success.
  10. Help shape the future sales organization as the company grows.

What we are looking for

  1. At least 5 years of B2B sales experience in SaaS, fintech, payments, accounting software, ERP, or a closely related category.
  2. Strong record of selling to SMB or mid market companies.
  3. Full cycle sales experience, including prospecting, discovery, demos, negotiation, and closing.
  4. Confidence selling to financially minded buyers and operators.
  5. Strong judgment, clear communication, and disciplined execution.
  6. Comfort working in an early stage company where speed, ownership, and direct problem solving matter.
  7. Ability to create structure from limited resources and incomplete information.
  8. Willingness to work closely with a Vancouver based founding team and sell across North American time zones.

What will make someone stand out

  1. Experience selling cards, payments, expense management, AP automation, reimbursement tools, or accounting infrastructure.
  2. Experience helping define early pricing, packaging, or go to market strategy.
  3. Experience in a founding sales, first AE, or early revenue role.
  4. Strong network among finance leaders, operators, or founder communities in the United States and Canada.
